My Present

For Christmas I got one of the best things that I could have. A Nikon 8008s 35mm SLR. Its the most beautiful thing. I might start a new segment each week posting pictures I take. But maybe not, depends on id I get film developed. Lets just wait and see. I'm so excited about it.

(It's not this exact one, I have a different/better lens and its not as beat up, but I don't have a picture of mine yet, so i had to fine this one of the Internet.)

I've Given Up

I stopped posting about what I wanted on my Christmas wish list if you haven't noticed already. I see too many things that I like and can't decided which to post. So I just haven't after I did the third one. But I will tell you that the one thing I would like is a 35mm SLR camera of any brand, I don't care, I just want one. And a lot of gift cards. After I turned about 14 gift cards were probably the best gift anyone could ever give me, especially those American Express ones that can work anywhere.

I figured since its getting close to Christmas and its now in the month of December I'll give ya some Christmas themed Flickr photos. I know I wouldn't be able to get around to it around the actual holiday so here you are.

Question Mark?

One of the radio stations here in Vegas already started playing all Christmas music. Christmas is my favorite holiday and everything that goes along with it makes me so happy! ha ha So the other day when it like 80 degrees out side and we were sweating our butts off in her car(that doesn't have air conditioning). We turned on the station and starting jamming to winter wonderland and Rodolph the red nose reindeer. My sister looked at me and said "Its like Christmas in Australia."

Christmas Wish List Part 3

Part 3 of my Christmas Wish list. Now that Halloween is over that means just one more month till X-mas!

13.Beribboned Bag from Anthropologie. So Adorable

14. "Wish You Were Here" Shower Curtain from Urban Outfitters. Made up of overlapping images taken from vintage postcards. Featuring familiar retro images for exotic places such as Paris, Bermuda, Atlantic City and Alaska.

15. Blackbird Fly from Superheadz. This is a twin lens camera based on the classic Rolleiflex, complete with trademark top down viewer. The photos are distinctly old school too (square snaps shot on 35mm film.) Woo!16. Michael Beutler espresso cups and saucers at Illy. These designs are inspired by origami, like most of the man's work, and certainly add a splash of colour to the traditional white cups. They're also collectibles, with each collection only produced in limited numbers.

Pretty Amazing/Christmas Wishlist Part 2

I have a bunch of homework to catch up on and I have to write and edit an essay but I thought I would stop for a second and make a post because all that work its just way to overwhelming for me.

I forgot about my wish list for the last week or so but here are a couple more things I would LOVE to get, but won't.

#6. Camlin boots from Delias. Just really Cute.

#7: Bookcase from Nobody & Co. Between each peg you can fit a book, the pegs can even come off.

#8: Ovetto cutting board from Dot
I'm the only one in my household that really cooks, when I saw this I wanted it immediately. Its shaped like an egg!

#9: Lomo Lubitel 166B.It has a top viewer, as well as a Triplet lens (for 'distinctive' colourful images), manual shutter and aperture controls and some nice vintage-style accessories, including a case and carry strap. I could also upgrade to a flash, authentic vintage film and a leather bag.

#10: The Illuminate Cube. Based on the old rubix cube but added light and sound. It can be hooked up to your computer or music player and its an external speaker and the lights will flash in time to your music. Get it at Geek Stuff 4U

Christmas Wishlist: A Start

I figured I would start adding stuff now. I'll add stuff every now and then until x- mas comes around. The things I put on here will be things I might really really want or stuff I want, but know im not going to get. Dare to dream.
