It's A Brand New Day

To start it off, the temperature outside is currently 66 degrees! I am so excited it is getting colder. Makes me want to go out and buy a bunch of sweaters, jeans, hoodies, jackets, scarfs; basically all things needed to survive Las Vegas during the Fall. Its weird how it is so hot during the summer, then automatically gets super cold within a week.

Stephanie DeArmond makes these cool/beautiful ceramic pieces. If I had my own place I would definitely have to decorate with a couple.

I've fallen for the Fall 2008 collection from Makool everything is so simple but adorable!

Start Of The Weekend

I woke up quite early today considering I went to bed so late last night. I hate waking up and having nothing to do because everyone else is still sleeping. Luckily my best friend now lives in Ohio and its 3 hours ahead there so she was up, and I called her to see what she was up to! I really need to fix my bike. I keep procrastinating doing it but I need to cause I want to ride it.
Ive cleaned all morning. Our house had been a disaster for the last couple of days.
While I was doing the dishes for some odd reason this song popped up in my head and its been there ever since. It wont go away!

I saw this and I thought it was so cool. Like some 70's cop stuff. 110 film revolutionised photography in the 70s, making cameras easier to use and easier to load. But not as easy as the digital cameras that have now made the film more or less extinct. Except in Japan of course.
And from Japan comes the Secret Book camera. Yes, shaped like a vintage book, you just pull off the casing and spine to expose a retro-styled camera that uses 110 film for capturing your suspicious moments. Only costs 55$ haha

October Is Here YAY

Septembers over. Im glad, too many sad things happend during that month. October means Autumn. my 2nd favorite season(1st would have to be winter). I love the colors and the smells everything about it. When we lived in Georgia it was my favorite thing in Fall to wait to jump into a big pile of dried out leaves that fell off the giant tree in our front yard. To bad that wouldn't happen here in Vegas.

This exibit,though focus on the Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Beatles and other bands from that era. I really want to go. Someone come with me.

Meow Mix

I was sitting doing homework today and one of my cats, Jonas, came and sat on my lap and fell asleep. It was really cute. Then all the rest of my cats came into the room and fell asleep in different parts of it. I thought it was adorable. Expecially since I was home alone and they just were all in the room hanging out with me, but sleeping haha.

I want to get them this. Its neat. I would need 4 of them though, so they wouldnt fight over it.

Sundays Are Daddy's Days

Every sunday I spend with my dad and his wife plus my step siblings. This is really the only time I see them during the week unless there is some special occasion on a week day. I love my dad and wish I could see him more. Since he moved jobs we cant go have lunch with him any more and it sucks. He said he had a surprise for us today. Im pretty sure they found a new house. It really isn't a surprise for me, but watever. Hopefully its a nice house. If its by our old one. I'd live with him and go back to school in a minute.

So its post that litte entry and the surprise WAS a new house and it is near my old school, not in the school zone but one out of it. That gets me thinking. The house they have is decent sized(considering all the people who are going to live in it), I might just want to move in.

I had hoped it would be something like this house, Its flippin awesome, only in my dreams.

The gorgeous view is the main element on this project. The floor plan asked for as little partitions and walls as possible. The kitchen and fireplace are the only elements erected from the concrete platform. The covered “terraza” is the hub for the whole structure where the cooking and living take place. Landscape was done taking into consideration the local flora and the virtual line that marks the end of the construction and the beginning of the terrain is erased by the integration of the two. The view is part of living in this house.

Went job hunting again. Hopfully I get one. My transportation is still a bike, which sucks but I can live with it for a while. I need new tires. The ones I have are shit! I love the fact that we have a huge drum set sitting in our garage but noone plays it. Its my brothers, but he says hes scared to play it because he doesn't want to make the neighbors mad. Which I totally understand since our neighbors are crazy. I miss my bestfriend, come back from Ohio already!



I want one of these! Its sort of like if astronauts had fish in space. I love the consept and the late 60's look they have. With a coloured acrylic finish and clear front, along with a circular port at the top that offers access to the actual fish and water. My schools kind of like regular public school but I only go once a week and I talk to my teachers like they're my friends. Which at some points can be quite awkward. Expecially when your math teacher tells you to text him later. I go to a park twice a week and workout with a class which gives me my failed PE credit. Im focusing on my work alot which is not normal for me, but I like doing it. Its a change, and I wanted change. My job search is still unsucessful. Honestly I haven't been working my hardest at getting one, though I should be.

California was amazingly fun and we didn't want to leave. When we were there we spent the night at the boys house 2 nights (being rebelious aganist my grandparents is so fun) and just chilled.
we came home for 2 days then we decided we missed the beach, so we went back. We went to the beach 2 times and had a blast. I want to move there so badly. When ever I think of how my life would be there it makes me hate where I am now 100x more. I need to get a job soon and then me and brit can get the fuck out of this hell hole.


Why is age always such a big issue? A couple years younger(maybe 3 or 4) and people automatically think you're a baby compared to them. Not to be vain, but maturity is something I have and I've done enough shit in my short life that some 'older' people haven't. So I hate when they judge me on just the age, get to know me and you'll find out there's more to me than that.

I need a nap im still quite tired and irritable.

DENIED

I got denied. AIS told me they didn't think I would be right at their 'school.' So basically right now were back to where we started. The lady at ais suggested I do oddessy which im gonna try. And if that doesn't work out im just gonna go back to school again. FUCK I HATE SCHOOL. And anything to do with it. I wish that I could just be done and have that be that. School to me is like the place you go to have people talk to you about stuff you are never going to need to know, but maybe if you take their low salary job in the future you'll need it.

Tomorrow is brittneys birthday. She's 18. That's intense to think about.

Basically tomorrow night/friday morning at 3 am were leaving for cali. Im excited to get out of this city again. I hate it here.

Mollys for sure leaving september 9th. It hasn't hit me yet. I wish I had money so I could get her some kind of cute going away present that would sit in here apt and make her always think of me. But im fucking broke, which means its probally be a couple pictures and a card that'll get thrown in a box after a month. Were still gonna be bestfriends forever I think..but I have a feeling im going to change without her. She keeps that one part of me different from everyone else, because she's just molly. So I have that 'just molly' part stuck to the sideof me always. But when she's gone that part will be gone and ill be shelby without molly. Just shelby.

I've been back in vegas for about a week now.
I cut my hair when I was still in cali and its real short. If I get on a computer soon ill put up a picture.
Since I've been back I really haven't done anything. Bullshits still going on with my dad and his wife. I hope he gets his shit together soon, not just for himself but for all of us too.
Molly got her license im excited for her, I really don't want her to move. But then again I want what's best for her ad she will do great in a dance company!
Me and brittney are planning on going to cali for her bday which is the 28th. I start AIS on the 26th so ill have to take my school work with me. But im excited to go back again cause I love it thereeee!
I still need a job. Badly.

I Know They Miss Me Too

I miss my kitties, all my family here has cats but they all dont cuddle or are as friendly as mine are. I miss my baby julis sleeping next to me at night and crying all the time haha there is only 1 cat here that actuctally likes me and his names mimbo. I love him, but hes mean at times.

I went to the beach today. it was nice, a little chilly, since the wind was strong but I delt with it. I was just enjoying it not being 120 degrees.

Tomorrow im going to see wicked with papa and carol(my grandpa and stepgrandma). It should be fun.

My Summer

Ive done a lot. I'm in California now. Have been for about a week now. Its so green here and the weather is amazing. I can't get over how much I love it.
I love my grandma, I say shes crazy because she is but that's what I love about her, shes into Wicca and she has all these little nick knacks all around her house along with all her candles she has wands, crystals, trolls, crystal balls, and so many statues of wizards. I love it. Its what I miss about her when I haven't seen her in as long as its been.
While I've been here i've seen the dark knight and Mama Mia. The dark knight was amazingggg and Mama Mia was alright. I like Abba thanks to the A TEENS but not enough to be in love with that movie. The story was cute though. But as for the dark knight I saw that with my grandpa and I loved it and so did he. It was just the kind of movie I like. lots of stunts and action.
Today I got my brother into loving mates of state. Best thing, by far, I've done this summer! His favorite song "my only offer." He tries to sing like Jason and wants me to sing like Kori but we never get it right.


I managed to stop by abbot kinny while I was here. In a shop I spotted some art prints that I loved and I had to have one! They were by artist Outi Harma. Shes brilliant. I actually got a chance to meet her in her shop on main street. We got to talking and she told me about how she made all her art and sold it to the store on abbot kinny and sold them at hers also. Nice woman.

Home Is Where The Heart Is..

I love it here in Santa Monica, but I miss my mom and all my friends, I really didnt think I would miss my friends because I dont have many, but I do. I appreciate all the stuff my family is doing for me here. Since at home we're really short of money and my dad doesn't do shit for me, I dont get much. But since i've been here i've gotten almost everything I wanted. I know thats not the best way to look at things but its nice.
I found out my grandma has breast cancer, so im trying to spend as much time with her as I can before she goes into surgery, so we're going to universal studios tomorrow with my brother and my cousin.

I cant wait to go home though, and for my sister to come, I really miss her.

The Time I've Spent Here

So ive been in California for a couple weeks now deff loven it because I get to go shopping almost every day.

Me and my brother, grandpa, and cousin all went to knotts berry farm it was fun..i guess.

In that picture you can tell how stoked I was to be there. It would of been more fun if I was with friends rather than little kids. But anyways, my step grandma is taking me to go shopping to get things for my room, my grandma and my aunt took me shopping yesterday deff got almost 250$ worth of clothes. woo!Im going to universal studios on Thursday! and mamas coming on Sunday.

I got my braces off before I came here on the 1st, I bought some rembrant white strips and they work so goood. My teeth are now white and straight, loves it.

Choo-Choo

These last couple of weeks have been wierd. I got a job at my dads buisness, kinda stupid all I do is work on the computer, but its cool because I get paid and I get to go whenever I want to. But I havent gone yet and I doupt I will. I hate working. I decided to do independent studies next year insted of going to durango. Just so I can have a little freedom. I get my braces off in 2 days, im so excited and im really scared because I know its going to hurt but I can handle it!

Past Weeks

I havent written in this is about a week or so, in that week I moved to a new house, met a boy, and alot of other junk.

I moved and we're getting all settled in, my mamas stressin still, and for a while we didnt have cable, so there was NOTHING to do. Yesterday we found out we have illegal cable so we now have tv and we steal the internet from the neighbors. shh dont tell.

From now on im going to keep up with this, unless the po po come and arrest us for stealing cable.

So friday night I left to Molly's house around 7, but I ended up going to Vito's house(her boyfriend), met some new people there, one kid who I hate and the rest were okay. So I kinda chilled with them the whole time, they called me murphy because one of the kids thought that was my name so they all started calling me that after his mistake. Its funny, but kind of annoying. Then on Saturday woke up at 6 am ate breakfast, went swimming in mollys pool, tanned, went swimming again, went and got showered and ready, took four 2 second naps, woke up, hung out at Vitos house again till 10, then went back to Molly's and my sister and Caity picked me up, a little awkward but kinda not. We went to robertos then they took me home and they left, I was stuck at home for a couple hours till my mom got home.

Anyways, today im just packing, getting ready to move and shit. So stoked to move!
