Let The Right One In

Let The Right One In from director Tomas Alfredson. It a Swedish vampire film about a boy named Oscar who ends up befriending a little girl named Eli who also is a vampire. The storyline basically fallows them as they change through out their friendship and growing fondness of each other. Don't go see Twilight go see this instead its a much better vampire flick!

They are currently making a remake in English from the director of Cloverfield, Matt Reeves, and the director of the original isn't too happy about it.

"Remakes should be made of movies that aren’t very good, that gives you the chance to fix whatever has gone wrong,” Alfredson tells Moviezine. “I’m very proud of my movie and think it’s great, but the Americans might be of an other opinion. The saddest thing for me would be to see that beautiful story made into something mainstream.” … “I don’t like to whine, but of course – if you’d spent years on painting a picture, you’d hate to hear buzz about a copy even before your vernissage!”
I totally agree, the remake is such a bad idea.
